The Safety Group program is a partnership between the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board and the business community with the goal of eliminating workplace injuries and illness in Ontario.

Mandatory Criteria

In order to be eligible for any potential rebates from the WSIB for 2007/2008, participants are required to meet the following minimum requirements:

Participate in at least 3 Safety Group seminar/meetings throughout the year.
Complete a base line and year-end workplace assessment.
Develop an action plan to implement the 5 achievement list elements.
Complete at least 3 of the 5 elements.
Maintain previous year's elements.
Submit documentation and progress reports when required.
Keep THSAO as the sponsor informed of your progress in implementing the elements.
