Class E Award
Is Your Small Business Eligible for
a Safety Award?
Reward and recognition are excellent
tools to motivate individuals, teams and companies. Small businesses
are no exception. But how do they compete with larger companies
that can accumulate 250,000, 500,000 and even 1,000,000 safe
person hours?
The Transportation Health & Safety Association has a separate
award program called the Class "E" Award specifically
designed to accommodate small businesses.
This award is given to firms within all industries covered by
the THSAO which operate accident free (compensable cases) for the
calendar year and whose person hours for the year are under 100,000.
When your company has completed a calendar
year accident free, you can apply to the THSAO to have your achievement
recognized with a Class "E" Safety Award.
